Lifegate Kids
About Us
The Bible tells us that kids were important to Jesus and so they are important to us. At Lifegate we want to create a space where kids feel safe and connected to friends, leaders and Jesus. Our desire is for them to grow in their understanding of who Jesus is and to know that right now, they are loved by Him and can show His love to others by helping, caring and loving them like Jesus does.
Lifegate Kids meets Sunday mornings during the service at both our Padstow and Prestons campuses. We look forward to seeing you there.
Programs
Little Treasures (1-5 Years)
We know kids learn best through play so our programs are play-based. In Little Treasures you will find friends, fun, games, music and interactive stories to learn that God made you; God loves you and Jesus wants to be your friend.
Padstow - Sunday at 10:30am (Family Service)
Prestons - Sunday at 10am
Ablaze (6-11 Years)
Friendship is so important for kids, so we create a space to help them find friendships that will last. We want kids to know Jesus is their friend no matter what. They can trust Him and follow Him. Our leaders focus on God’s Word to connect kids to Jesus in their lives today. In Ablaze, you will see how God’s Word is relevant for you today through play, games, stories, music, discussions, craft and fun with friends.
Padstow - Sunday at 10:30am (Family Service)
Prestons - Sunday at 10am
PlayDate
There will be activities, craft, story time and morning tea for the kids, as well as, coffee, tea and biscuits for parents/carers.
Prestons - Wednesdays at 10am (during school term)
Meet Kath
Kath is Lifegate's Kids Pastor. She is married to Mark and has 3 young children. Kath is a trained music teacher and is passionate about seeing kids grow to be all that God created them to be. She’d love to tell you more about our kids programs, just ask!
